  • Katherin Machalek, Director & Editor

    Katherin is a documentary filmmaker originally from New York City, now based in Copenhagen. She is known for directing WELCOME (Chicago South Asian Film Festival, 2021), I WAS HERE FIRST (DOC NYC, UnionDocs 2015), and CLIM8 (Altitudes Festival, 2014). As a crew member, she has also contributed to THE RUSSIAN WOODPECKER (Sundance, 2015), THE ACTOR (NY Short Film Festival, 2018), and SISTERS OF THE WICKED WIG (LA Shorts Film Festival, 2016). Inspired by Chantal Akerman, Katherin’s films examine the domestic realm, intergenerational feminist dialogue, and psychic inheritance.

  • Annie Berman, Producer

    Annie is a media artist living and working in New York City. Named one of Independent Magazine’s 10 Filmmakers to Watch, her work has shown international at MoMA Documentary Fortnight, Le FIFA International Festival of Films on Art, Camden International Film Festival, DocPoint Helsinki, and Rooftop Films. Past films include: The Faithful: The King, The Pope, The Princess (Winner of the Best Cinematic Essay Prize, Le FIFA 41st Edition); Utopia 1.0: Post-Neo-Futurist-Capitalism in 3D!; Street Views (Winner of the Best Experimental Film Prize, Rome Independent Film Festival); Of Birds and Boundaries.

  • Andrew Kirwan, Sound Mix & Design

    Andrew Kirwan is a sound designer and composer based in Dublin, Ireland. An Ifta nominated sound editor with a passion for Film and Drama, Andy has nine years experience across the audio post production industry. Bringing a love for unconventional surreal sound design, Andy commits 110% to every project, striving to bring each director’s vision to reality. Andy’s recent credits include The Image You Missed (Cinema du Reel, CPH DOX 2018), Wrapped (RTÉ), KIN, Smother, My New York Year, Zone 414, The Faithful, Kathleen, Connacht: Relentless, and Coda, which was shortlisted for an Academy Award.

  • Kathleen Martin, Composer

    Kathleen is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, arranger and producer of a spectrum of sounds. She has performed with the Harvard University Choir and choruses at Neighborhood Playhouse and the Mannes School of Music in NYC. Kathleen's compositions have been streamed with more than a million listens across the globe. Her music has been broadcast on U.S. and European radio stations and used in a variety of television and film projects. In the summer of 2020, she left the US for her forever home in Hämeenlinna, Finland.

  • Pete Readman, Composer

    Pete is a composer/orchestrator/songwriter of music for media, sync, and education. He scores film, TV and Podcasts. His children’s songs are sung in schools all over the UK as part of award-winning national curriculum programs.
